Aggregate Testing

Introduction

Construction aggregate, or simply “aggregate”, is a broad category of coarse to medium grained particulate material used in construction, including sand, gravel, crushed stone, slag, recycled concrete and geosynthetic aggregates. Aggregates are the most mined materials.

List of Material covered are as follow:-
  • Coarse aggregate (4.75mm to 75mm)
  • Fine Aggregate (75 Micron to 4.75mm)

Our Solution

ITC Labs offer the Qualitative testing as per the standard requirements for the different construction works. Aggregate plays an important role in pavement construction. Aggregates influence, to a great extent, the load transfer capability of pavements. Hence it is essential that they should be thoroughly tested before using for construction. Not only that aggregates should be strong and durable, they should also possess proper shape and size to make the pavement act monolithically.
