Industrial Hygienist
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Industrial Hygienist who can lead workplace health and safety initiatives across diverse industries.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about risk assessment, compliance, and creating safer work environments using scientific and regulatory best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in planning and implementing Industrial Hygiene Standards across various Industries.
- Experience in conducting safety, health risk assessments and developing and implementing SOPs.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and driving tasks to completion.
- Understanding of Industry standards and regulations, including AIHA, ACGIH, OSHA, NIOSH and local regulatory standards.
- Provide training to clients on Occupational Health and Safety best practices.
- Monitoring of exposure levels to hazardous substances and environments. Ensure proper sampling and analysis procedures are followed.
- Maintain correct records of inspections, monitoring results and prepare reports as needed for management and regulatory agencies.
- Experience in Qualitative and Quantitative exposure assessments.
- Conduct air sampling, noise monitoring, and other exposure assessments to ensure compliance with occupational exposure limits.
Business Development:
- Identify high risk Industries such as (Pharma, Chemicals & Minning etc.)
- Develop client relationships through presentations, proposals, and technical consultations.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing for testing and consulting services.
- Networking ability to build long-term client partnerships.
- Branding and Outreach by using Websites, SEO, Linkedin Visibility.
- Participation in industry forums and safety expos.
Qualification:
- Masters of Industrial Hygiene and Safety (MIHS)
- Added Advantage – Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)- American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), USA, B.Sc. Fire & Safety, NEBOSH IGC
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years in Industrial Hygiene and Safety and EHS Consulting.
- Conducted 50+ Qualitative Exposure Assessment at 20+ manufacturing sites.
- Industries include – Healthcare, Heavy Engineering, Power, Oil & Gas, Mines, Pharmaceuticals, Petrochemical, Cement, Agriculture, Construction, Food, and Metal production.
